Pre Instructions for Vestibular Function Test

Before you come for the test, there are some preparations that you need to do for the Vestibular Function Test.

1. No smoking for 48 hours prior to the test

2. No alcohol for the 48 hours prior to the test

3. Stop taking any sedatives for 24 hours before the test

4. No coffee or tea on the morning of the test, only a weak tea may be taken if necessary

5. Have a light breakfast, as the tests may cause nausea
